The papers announce that Bethlehem, Pa., has war orders on hand for one hundred million dollars’ worth of ammunition. Some of these shells are to be so enormous that, upon exploding, nothing can exist within a radius of a hundred yards. Oh, Jesus, that they should call this hell of a place Bethlehem! What next are we going to get from our wonderful system?
